Panzerkampfwagen III

The Panzer III was used during the campaigns against Poland, France, the Soviet Union and North Africa. Some continued in use in Normandy and Arnhem in 1944. This tank was the protagonist of the Blitzkrieg and testimony of the maximum expansion of the Wehrmacht during the first half of the war. Technically inferior to the contemporary Russian and Allies tanks, the crews of the Panzer III showed its tactical and operational superiority fighting and winning battles on all fronts. Since 1942 was discontinued and was gradually replaced by the Panzer IV.
Following  some pictures from Panzer III 1/72 scale models (Admiral Toys, Altaya, Panzerstahl and Dragon Armor).
