M12 155mm Gun Motor Carriage "CORREGIDOR"

"CORREGIDOR" was an M12 155mm gun motor carriage from the 991st Field Artillery that fought in Normandy, near to St. Lô on July 1944, few days prior to Operation Cobra. This self propelled  gun motor carriage was used often in support of armored divisions, and its powerful gun was used too at a point-blank range (straight to the target) against bunkers, pillboxes and fortified positions, where its effectiveness was well appreciated.
