Maus and E-100, super-heavy tanks...

These prototypes of super-heavy tanks were developped during the last years of WWII, but they never entered in service, as the war ended before they did. They should defense Germany from the attack of Allies in the last days of the war. More than tanks they looked like a fortress or bunkers with tracks... Heavy armored, they were almost indestructible and  with a 128 mm main gun and a coaxial 75 mm  gun, could reach and destroy all enemy tanks (Sherman, T-34, etc.) that were put in their range of shooting... but this advantages play at the expense of mobility and there was no engine powerful enough to move the tanks in an acceptable speed as they were designed, 20 km/h.
Russian troops that reach Berlin in May 1945 found the unfinished prototypes...
