Fieseler Fi 103 V-1 Flying Bomb

Also kown as the Buzz Bomb or Doodlebug by the Allies, the V-1 Vergeltungswaffe 1, was the world's first cruise missile, and was developped by the German Luftwaffe during WWII. Powered by a pulse-jet engine, this non piloted flying bomb had a lethal warhead of 850 kg of amatol high explosive and an operational range of 250 km. reaching a max. cruise speed of 670 km/h. First V-1 was launched on 13 June 1944 and more than 11,000 were fired till the end of the war, most of them to London and surroundings, but also to the port of Antwerpen and other targets in Belgium.
