When the project of the 3.7 cm Flakpanzer Coelian was cancelled considering the poor firepower in relation to the weight of the vehicle, the work was concentrated in a more powerful version with a 5.5 Flakzwilling armored turret mounted also in a Panther hull. But it seems to be that the development work of this latter was halted in February 1945, as it had no place in the emergency programme. However, the war ended before any prototype of "Flakpanther" was built to enter in action...
